DTP was founded in 2017. Our primary Mission Statement that still holds true today is:
Making Divorce Just a Little Bit Easier™
We believe that this can be accomplished by bringing together amazing professionals all of whom have expertise in the divorce landscape and all of whom understand what it means to collaborate.
At each chapter meeting we bring you a top-notch speaker or program, providing on-going education, and an opportunity to network and collaborate with some of the best divorce professionals in your community. Our meetings are typically an hour. We respect that you are a busy professional and are sure to provide a compelling, productive meeting, the ultimate results of which will meet our goal of supporting folks as they go through divorce and in growing your business, concurrently.
This event is completely free to all FIRST-TIME attendees. It is an opportunity to learn more about the Divorce Transition Professionals. If you are a professional with divorce expertise, please check us out.

From Contact to Collaboration: Building Business Relationships with Intention
Many professionals network passively, hoping referrals will follow. Strong, collaborative relationships don’t happen by accident—they’re built with intention. In this session, you’ll learn a strategic approach to identifying the right people, filtering for fit, and developing trust over time. We’ll explore a relationship-building model that goes beyond referrals and into true partnership. You’ll leave with practical tools to grow a network that supports your goals—and each other’s.
Cory Nott is a visionary coach and co-founder of Take Wing Coaching, where he specializes in guiding business partners to be great collaborators. With over 30 years of experience in business consulting, Cory has contributed to major initiatives including Nextel’s cellular network, Caltrans’ bridge projects, and Electronic Arts’ The Sims 2. His entrepreneurial journey began in 1998 as a technology consultant, eventually evolving into business relationship coaching with the Referral Institute.
Beyond his professional achievements, Cory is a devoted family man and adventurer. He enjoys motorcycle touring, camping with his wife and daughter, experimenting with gourmet recipes—currently perfecting an award-winning rib rub. A lifelong learner, he holds multiple coaching certifications and is exploring Druidry through the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. At his core, Cory believes in cultivating a vision that transcends all obstacles—a principle he lives and leads by.
